From the beginning of his musical journey, Micah Shemaiah promised to deliver great sounds and strong spiritual vibes. This has been fulfilled and he continues to shower the earth with powerful reggae vibrations that are well loved across the globe. Born and raised in Kingston City, the original home of Reggae as a member of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, Micah grew up with the firm, spiritual teachings of Rastafari. Micah Shemaiah’s spiritually powerful performances connect people worldwide and secure a ride for all.

In 2009 Micah Shemaiah released Rastaman Meditation. In 2015 Micah Shemaiah released a second studio album called Original Dread. Original Dread was produced by WeGeneration Music and Descendant Music from the UK. In the same year he also released a collaborative album on vinyl entitled Shalalak Rockers Rebirth produced by WeGeneration Music. Micah would later join forces with Swiss base record label Evidence Music to release Roots I Vision in 2018 and Jamaica Jamaica in 2023. In 2021 Still was released. It was produced by Zion I Kings.

In Shemaiah’s own words….
“The music comes out of my own journey and the way I foresee the world in the future. Reggae music since its inception has been the cornerstone of spirituality in this world, and though marginalized and criticized by the ever changing illusion machine- ran by the powers that wish to enslave the earth, I see where inevitably more and more people will trod towards a conscious awareness of who they are and what they stand for. We will eventually see and experience the interconnections of life and move forward to accomplish one goal, one aim and one destiny through a righteous livity”

Micah Shemaiah has gained many accolades and much recognition for the consistency in the quality of his releases and his passionate performances. Micah’s album Jamaica Jamaica was considered for a Reggae Grammy. Micah toured Japan for the first time and was the only Jamaican artist to be asked to board the Peace Boat from Iceland to Jamaica to discuss culture and how it impacts peace in the world and to perform. Micah Shemaiah continues to tour extensively. In Europe he has performed on many major festivals such as Rototom Sunsplash, Reggae Jam, Uprising Reggae Festival, Rastaplas, Reeds Festival, Uppsala Reggae Festival, Sziget Festival, Enter the Dancehall Festival, Rootsbase Festival, Reggae Geel, Reggae Camp, Boom Town Festival, Hootananny Brixton and Zwarte Cross.

Micah Shemaiah is moving on the frontline carrying on the roots rastaman one love vibrations to the people of the world. The mission continues.
